Japan, here I come!

Just for your information, this is my first time blogging, so I'm still learning the ways. But is there an actually way of doing that? I want to make these blog posts more like a Diary (other things later?) and maybe post my itineraries one day.

I'm finally going back to Japan! The last time I traveled to Japan was in 2018 for my studies. What an amazing time and experience I had there. I learned so much about the culture and the people. I told myself I had to go again very soon. I have to save up to be able to stay for at least a month. Cause you know, adult life ain't as easy as we thought it was haha. And then the massive break-out of Corona happened in 2020. Corona had a lot of impact on decisions we weren't allowed to make ourselves. Thus, the years went by of craziness, but slowly everything opened up again. In that period, ya girl here had the opportunity to save even more. I had no choice anyways cause everything was closed haha. The time has finally arrived! September 2023 is finally the month when I'll be able to spend a month traveling in Japan (slowly claps hands)...YEY!

There are still a few more days left before I embark on this adventure. I have been planning an itinerary for this vacation. However, I did not know how frustrating and time-consuming making a plan was. Never in all my travels have I made an itinerary. I usually just yolo the whole trip and see a lot of cultural spots, eat a bunch and do a bunch of activities. With Japan, I couldn't do that. I want to see a lot more of Japan. This is why I'll be traveling from Tokyo to Niigata to Kansai area to Okinawa and back to Tokyo where I can take the flight back home to the Netherlands. This vacation requires a lot of planning and traveling and booking hotels. There are so many new things I want to see when I'm in Japan. Each city is unique in their way. I can't wait to share this adventure with everyone. Hope these blog posts will inspire you to take an adventure.
